Statistical analysis of the compositional data reveals that several distinct clay types are present in southeastern Wisconsin. The compositional patterns noted were compared to a sample of ceramic sherds recovered from Aztalan a fortified Middle Mississippian site located on the Crawfish River.
· Neutron activation analysis and chemical inference for the identification of Buena Vista ceramics (e.g. the Buena Vista Pottery Company) should reflect a chemical composition for the most part unchanged from that of the clay(s) used in the process. Using appropriate analytical methods permits (1) the catalogued at the Ceramic Analysis
· entered into a computer-based file called Rock Analysis Storage System (RASS). This data base contains both descriptive geological information and analytical data. Any or all of this information may be retrieved and converted to a binary form (STATPAC) for computerized statistical analysis or publication (VanTrump and Miesch 1977).
· Potters rarely use clay direct from the ground but instead manipulate their paste in several possible ways depending on its characteristics and the types of objects they wish to create. This can significantly alter the textural mineralogical and chemical composition of the original raw material (Sterba et al. 2009 Fowler et al. 2019).
· analysis was used to develop the prediction model for optimum physicomechanical properties of porcelain. 3. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION To check the chemical composition of palm oil fuel ash (POFA) Bruker S4 Pioneer X-ray fluorescence analysis operated at 60 kVp and 50 mA is used and the result is presented in Table 1.
In this paper six frustum-shaped ceramic water filters of the same clay sawdust composition were tested. Each ceramic water filter was filled with water and allowed to filter 20 times.

Abstract Yixing Zisha pottery is one of the most representative and influential traditional tea sets in ancient and even contemporary China. Chemical and phase composition microstructure and performance of Yixing Zisha pottery samples from the late Ming Dynasty to the late Qing Dynasty (1573 A.D.–1911 A.D.) unearthed for the first time in the Shushan Mountain Zisha pottery kiln sites in the
preliminary study demonstrates the value of chemical analysis of archaeological ceramics as an adjunct to more traditional methods. INTRODUCTION For the last fifty years analysis of the chemical composition of ceramic pastes has formed a useful adjunct

chemical analysis.. Our use of ceramic "composition" should be clarified. Although slips and pigments have physical substance and are of traditional importance in archae ology their thinness is not well suited to the somewhat destructive analytical techniques generally employed in petrographic and chemical
· Europeans tried to duplicate Chinese porcelain but unable to analyze its chemical composition they could imitate only its appearance. After mixing glass with tin oxide to render it opaque European craftspeople tried combining clay and ground glass. These alternatives became known as soft-paste glassy or artificial porcelains.
· Preliminary results reported indicate that similar styled figurines from the Los Roques Archipelago and from the Lake Valencia region in Venezuela differ significantly in chemical composition (Bohus et al. 2005 255). The INAA Technique Instrumental neutron activation analysis is a powerful quantitative analytical technique
A very important factor for the chemical composition of clays is the mobility of the elements during the processes of clay formation. Generally the mobility decreases from left to right in the Periodic table i.e. from alkali alkaline earths transitional elements to the 3 and 4 valent elements.

· multifunctional statistical analysis. Also highlighted was the validation of analytical techniques using several certified reference materials. In April 1999 a second RCM was held in Cuzco Peru to present and discuss preliminary results of the individual projects and to refine the methods used.
· A preliminary study of Spanish-produced majolica was conducted on a set of 246 samples from the 12 primary majolica production centers on the Iberian Peninsula. The samples were analyzed by neutron activation analysis (NAA) and the resulting data were interpreted using an array of multivariate statistical procedures.
· Chemical analysis performed on samples at 10 h (170 °C) resulted in the stoichiometry of Na 6.00 Al 5.98 Si 12.02 O 36. The density of analcime from the sample at
Ceramics stand as one of the most usual domains in which clays are used. The type and the quality of the end products depend on the sample characteristics such as mineralogy physicochemical properties and chemical composition 1)- (6. Amongst clays kaolinite-rich clay deposits are widely spread and their occurrences are large in Cameroon 7
